UltraPlex Autoimmune :

UltraPlex Thyroid

A 3-plex assay for two common autoantibodies associated with autoimmune thyroid disease, combining quantitative assays for anti-thyroid peroxidase (TPO) and anti-thyroglobulin (TG) antibodies.

This product adds the quantitation of anti-TG antibodies (which are elevated in approximately 10% of patients with thyroid disease in the absence of anti-TPO antibodies) to a robust and reliable anti-TPO assay, improving overall clinical performance compared to conventional screening with anti-TPO assays alone at no extra cost.

The inclusion of the Qmax zero microparticles, with no antigen coated, also eliminates rare false positives seen with conventional ELISAs, due to high levels of non-specific antibodies in some patient samples - with no extra effort, thanks to the power of digital multiplexing.
