UltraPlex RF

Our new UltraPlex RF assay combines assays for IgA, IgG and IgM rheumatoid factors, employing animal Iimmunoglobulin antigens.

The addition of Qmax zero control microparticles eliminates rare false positives caused by non-specific antibody binding. The use of F(ab') fragments of the detection antibody similarly reduces the rate of false positives compared with some commercial assays for rheumatoid factor.

As with our other UltraPlex Autoimmune products, the launch of UltraPlex RF will be accompanied by comparative data from large clinical cohorts, carried out in independent laboratories, to demonstrate the clinical performance of the product.
