UltraPlex Autoimmune :

UltraPlex Liver

As with anti-nuclear antibodies, diagnosing autoimmune liver disease requires assays for a range of different autoantigens, and is often performed by indirect immunofluoresence. Like ANA, therefore, it offers the maximum benefit from the application of multiplexing.

Our UltraPlex Liver product will combine qualitative assays for a number of key antigens including M2, LKM-1, SLA and LC1. With the added benefit of the Qmax zero control microparticles, to eliminate rare false positives caused by non-specific antibody binding (particularly important for distinguishing autoimmune liver disease from viral infections), UltraPlex Liver offers an alternative to IFA screening.

As with our other UltraPlex Autoimmune products, the launch of UltraPlex Liver will be accompanied by comparative data from large clinical cohorts, performed in independent laboratories, to demonstrate the clinical utility (as well as cost and time savings) that accompanies a switch to UltraPlex.
